Sasol, a technology-driven alternative fuels and chemicals company, was formed in 1950 in Sasolburg and celebrated 60 years of operations in 2010.

Our global presence

Sasol operates in 38 countries and employs about 33 000 people. We are listed on the JSE Limited in South Africa and on the New York Stock Exchange in the United States of America (USA).
